...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 PM AST THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of Puerto Rico, including the following
  counties, Bayamon, Carolina, Catano, Guaynabo, San Juan, Toa Alta,
  Toa Baja and Trujillo Alto.

* WHEN...Until 300 PM AST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is
  imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At noon AST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Up to 1 inch of rain has
    fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    San Juan, Guaynabo, Catano, Bayamon, Sabana Seca, Trujillo
    Alto, Carolina, Toa Alta, Toa Baja, Dorado, Levittown,
    Candelaria, Candelaria Arenas, Pajaros, Ingenio, Campanilla,
    San Jose, Galateo and Mucarabones.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
