.DISCUSSION...A cold front will gradually settle into the area during
the overnight hours, bringing a drop in temperature, rise in
humidity, and little to no chance of precipitation (less than 5
percent chance). Gusty afternoon and evening winds will lighten up
as the front moves into the area, become variable for a period
during the early to mid morning, then prevail out of a
northwesterly direction. Warm southerly return flow spreads over
the burn area, limiting overnight recoveries into Friday and
increasing temperatures on Friday afternoon with minimal change to
minimum afternoon humidity.

Another weak storm system moves through the area late Friday
through Sunday. Moderation of temperature and RH is expected once
again alongside higher probability of precipitation (around
40-50%) and a medium chance (~35%) of wetting rains on Saturday.
Winds are also expected to increase out of the southwest during
this period, with peak gusts exceeding 30 mph on exposed terrain/
ridges during the afternoon hours. Winds gradually shift to
northwesterly Saturday evening into Sunday morning as high
pressure rebuilds over Utah. Monday forward features higher
likelihoods of significantly warming temperatures, with the 60
degree threshold likely being exceeded by Monday afternoon and
through the remainder of the week. Humidity will also decrease
alongside warming, with minimums projected to reach 10-15% by the
middle of the week next week.
