401 FNUS72 KTAE 231135 FWSTAE Spot Forecast for Upcoming Prescribed fire...U.S. Air Force Wildland Fire National Weather Service Tallahassee FL 735 AM EDT Thu May 23 2024 Forecast is based on ignition time of 0700 EDT on May 23. If conditions become unrepresentative, contact the National Weather Service. Please contact our office at (850) 942-8833, if you have questions or concerns with this forecast. .DISCUSSION... Low clouds and some patchy fog will be ongoing for the next 1-2 hours; however, it should dissipate by 9am CDT. This patchy fog and low clouds will lead to low high LVORI values and low dispersions at the burn site for the next few hours. Once the low clouds and patchy fog lift, the only other concern will be the seabreeze that should come through mid day given the burn locations proximity to the coast. This may lead to slight wind shift out of the south, as well as an abrupt increase in winds/wind gusts at the burn location. Overall, minimum RH values are not a concern, and winds will predominantly be out of the southeast before transitioning to southerly by mid day. Dispersions will similarly become favorable by mid day. In general, there are no fire weather concerns at this time at the burn location. .REST OF TODAY...
