...HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK FOR WALTON, BAY, AND GULF COUNTY BEACHES
TODAY...

.THE SURF ZONE FORECAST GENERAL OUTLOOK...

With recent updates from local beaches, there is a High risk for rip
currents today at Walton, Bay, and westward-facing Gulf County beaches
today. A Moderate risk is present elsewhere. Surf heights are
generally around 1-2 feet today. A moderate to high risk for rip
currents will continue into the weekend.

Based on communication with area beach officials, the following flags
are flying at area beaches:

West Facing Gulf Beaches......Red
South Facing Gulf Beaches.....Yellow
