...Snow in the Southwest mountains this afternoon through
tonight...

Light rain will develop over Southwest MT this morning. Colder air
will move into the area this afternoon and evening. This will
change the rain to snow, with snow levels lowering to around 7000
feet by this evening. Accumulating snowfall is possible in the
Big Sky area and surrounding mountains, mostly for elevations
above 7000 feet.

Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches are possible around Big
Sky, with 3 to 6 inches possible at ridge tops.

Those planning to drive through the Big Sky area later today or
tonight, should be prepared for winter driving conditions.
