and thunderstorms, some with heavy rain mostly in far eastern
Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. They were most widespread and
heaviest in Delaware county in Oklahoma. Movement was slowly to the
east at 5 to 10 mph. The average amount where it rained last hour
was less than one tenth of an inch with maximum amounts of an inch
to an inch and a half. Intensity increased during the last hour. The
Tulsa area forecast for late this afternoon and into this evening,
mostly cloudy then clearing, a chance of showers and thunderstorms
with temperatures 77 to 80 degrees and southeast winds up to 10 mph.
