At 428 PM, National Weather Service radar detected isolated showers
and thunderstorms, some with heavy rain mainly in northwest Arkansas
and far northeast Oklahoma. They were most widespread and heaviest
in Washington and Delaware counties in Oklahoma. Movement was slowly
to the east at 5 to 10 mph. The average amount where it rained last
hour was less than one tenth of an inch with maximum amounts of an
inch to an inch and a half. Intensity decreased during the last
hour. The Tulsa area forecast for late this afternoon and into this
evening, mostly cloudy then clearing, a chance of showers and
thunderstorms with temperatures 77 to 80 degrees and southeast winds
up to 10 mph.
