showers mostly in eastern Oklahoma east of highway 75, also north of
I44 and west of highway 75 and also in Arkansas west of I49. The
precipitation was in the Tulsa and Fort Smith areas. Movement was
slowly to the northeast at 5 to 10 mph. The average amount where it
rained last hour was less than one tenth of an inch with maximum
amounts of one tenth to one quarter of an inch. Coverage, and
intensity increased during the last hour. The Tulsa area forecast
for this afternoon, partly sunny, a chance of showers and
thunderstorms with temperatures 76 to 82 degrees and southeast winds
5 to 10 mph.
