...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT CENTRAL LE FLORE COUNTY THROUGH
100 AM CDT...

At 1223 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms along a
line extending from 3 miles northeast of Talimena State Park to 6
miles west of Morgan Springs. Movement was east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small tree limbs and blow
         around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation
         is possible.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
