...Preliminary Storm Survey Scheduled for the Area Near Verona in
Onslow County North Carolina...

The National Weather Service office in Newport/Morehead City NC
is currently conducting a storm survey for the area near Verona
and Camp Lejune in Onslow County North Carolina. The survey is in
relation to the severe thunderstorms that moved through the area
on May 24th 2024.

A final assessment including results of the survey are expected
to be completed and transmitted via a Public Information
Statement by 11:00 PM.

The storm survey information will also be available on our
website at http://www.weather.gov/mhx
