.DISCUSSION...

Low pressure will move into the region today with increasing
southerly winds topping out between 25 and 35mph. Warmer
temperatures will come with higher dewpoints, with afternoon
humidity between 30 and 50 percent. Thunderstorms will develop in
the afternoon with severe weather potential. Storms will last into
the evening and overnight hours. A cold front crosses the state
tonight as well, with gusty northwest winds topping out around 40mph
across the Missouri valley region.
