...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHERN BROWN COUNTY THROUGH
245 AM CDT...

At 157 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Frederick, or 12 miles south of Ellendale, moving southeast at 35
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Aberdeen, Frederick, Columbia, Westport, Claremont, Barnard, Sand
Lake Wildlife Refuge, Houghton, Elm Lake, and Richmond Lake Rec Area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
