Radio Weather Synopsis
National Weather Service Aberdeen SD
235 PM CDT Thu May 16 2024 /135 PM MDT Thu May 16 2024/

A weak mid-level disturbance moving eastward across the Dakotas will
bring a few widely scattered showers and thunderstorms to the region
this evening. Otherwise, a potent cold front will move east across
the area Friday night. This will bring a better chance for showers
and thunderstorms, especially over central South Dakota where a few
strong to severe storms are possible. After a rather warm day on
Friday, this cold front passage will bring cooler temperatures and
windy conditions on Saturday.

Lows tonight will drop into the 50s. Highs on Friday will rise into
the 80s to around 90 degrees. Highs on Saturday will drop back down
into the upper 60s to mid 70s.
