Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southern New England
National Weather Service Boston/Norton MA
411 PM EDT Wed May 29 2024

.DISCUSSION...

A few spot showers are possible this evening...but a low pressure
system will bring a steady/widespread rain to much of the region
after midnight into Thursday morning. Some of the rain may be
heavy with a rumble or two of thunder possible as well. A drying
trend is expected Thursday afternoon.

.OUTLOOK...Friday through Tuesday...

High pressure will build in from the west Friday through the
weekend...bringing mainly dry and pleasant weather. This ridge of
high pressure should shift to our south and east early next
week...resulting in warmer and more humid weather.
