CENTRAL NORTHUMBERLAND...SOUTHERN MONTOUR AND SOUTH CENTRAL COLUMBIA COUNTIES THROUGH 1045 PM EDT... At 1006 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Northumberland, moving southeast at 25 mph. Other strong storms were nearby. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Sunbury, Shamokin, Mount Carmel, Northumberland, Kulpmont, Ashland, Winfield, Elysburg, Fairview-Ferndale, Riverside, Trevorton, Shamokin Dam, Marshallton, Lavelle, Aristes, Numidia, Wilburton Number One, Locustdale, Beurys Lake, and Wilburton Number Two.
