Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southeast Wyoming/Western Nebraska
National Weather Service CHEYENNE WY
223 AM MDT Wed May 22 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Fire weather concerns will remain low the next couple of days. We
will have minimum humidity values 20-25% in southeast WY, but wind
gusts will remain below critical thresholds. Thursday will bring a
strong cold front to the region, with strong wind gusts expected to
occur across many FWZs Thursday afternoon and evening. However, we
will see very good to excellent overnight humidity recovery to keep
any concerns low for fuels drying out.
