Late this afternoon and this evening, a cold front will approach the area, with more widespread chances for showers and thunderstorms. The Storm Prediction Center is forecasting a level 1 our of 5, marginal risk for severe storms for northeast Iowa, where the main threat will be damaging winds and hail up to quarter size between 4 PM and Midnight. Overnight, widespread rain and thunderstorms will be found over the entire area. Severe storms are not expected overnight. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY Rain and a few embedded thunderstorms are possible again Sunday.
