951 FNUS52 KFFC 311935 FWFFFC Fire Weather Planning Forecast for North and Central Georgia National Weather Service Peachtree City GA 335 PM EDT Fri May 31 2024 .DISCUSSION... No hazardous fire weather conditions are expected at this time. Winds and relative humidity values will remain outside of critical thresholds. Current RH values range from 30 to 50 percent with few locations showing values between 25 and 30 percent this afternoon. Dry conditions are expected through tonight with most areas remaining dry again on Saturday. Isolated rain showers are possible on Saturday across west Georgia with chances increasing Saturday night into Sunday mainly across portions of North Georgia. With moisture steadily returning, RH values on Saturday will range from near 55 percent in West Georgia to low 30s across East Georgia. Winds will remain out of the east this afternoon, with wind speeds tapering off after sunset. Winds shift more to the southeast on Saturday at 6 to 10 MPH with isolated wind gusts nearing 20 MPH across North Georgia during the afternoon.
