...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of southwestern
Rockdale, Spalding, east central Fayette, Henry, Butts and
southeastern Clayton Counties through 645 PM EDT...

At 601 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was over Sunny Side, or 7 miles
north of Griffin, moving northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Winds up to 40 mph and pea sized hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of
         light, unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Griffin, McDonough, Fayetteville, Jackson, Jonesboro, Stockbridge,
Hampton, Lovejoy, Locust Grove, Flovilla, Jenkinsburg, Woolsey, Sunny
Side, East Griffin, Lake Spivey, Blacksville, Ola, Walker Mill,
Inman, and Luella.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People outdoors should seek shelter immediately.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for
central Georgia.
