...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of DeKalb, Fayette,
north central Meriwether, southeastern Carroll, Douglas, central
Gwinnett, northeastern Heard, central Rockdale, south central
Cherokee, southwestern Forsyth, central Cobb, northwestern Henry,
Coweta, Fulton and Clayton Counties through 600 PM EDT...

At 513 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was over College Park, or 8
miles northwest of Jonesboro, moving north at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Heavy rain.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Heavy rain may cause temporary street flooding especially
         in poor drainage areas.

Atlanta, Marietta, Newnan, Douglasville, Lawrenceville, Decatur,
Fayetteville, Jonesboro, Peachtree Corners, City of South Fulton,
Sandy Springs, Roswell, Johns Creek, Alpharetta, Smyrna, Dunwoody,
Peachtree City, East Point, Duluth, and Stockbridge.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should slow down and be prepared for possible loss of
control due to hydroplaning.
