Another upper trough is centered over Canada and extends southward over the upper Midwest. Upper lift is enhanced over south central and central Nebraska and north central Kansas which has resulted in showers across southern and central portions of the area. Northerly winds are present with much cooler temperatures. Highs today are expected to mostly be in the 60s. Skies will begin to clear out tonight from northwest to southeast. Some locations across northwestern portions of the area may experience temperatures in the upper 30s. Monday through Wednesday night... The upper trough over the area will begin to move east on Monday with another upper trough moving over the northern Plains. Southerly winds and mostly sunny skies will return to south central and central Nebraska and north central Kansas Monday afternoon. High temperatures on Monday will mostly be in the lower 70s. Low temperatures Monday night will be in the 40s and 50s. An upper trough will extend from the central part of the country to the Great Lakes on Tuesday.
