...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN MECKLENBURG...
SOUTHEASTERN CLEVELAND...GASTON AND NORTHEASTERN YORK COUNTIES
THROUGH 230 AM EDT...

At 151 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles west of Gastonia, or over Kings Mountain, moving east at 30
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Gastonia, Uptown Charlotte, Huntersville, Central Charlotte,
Northeast Charlotte, Southwest Charlotte, Northwest Charlotte, Kings
Mountain, Mt Holly, and Belmont.
