Upper Texas coastal waters from High Island to the Matagorda Ship
Channel out 60 nautical miles including Galveston and Matagorda
Bays.

Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest
1/3 of the waves...along with the occasional height of the
average highest 10 percent of the waves.

.Synopsis For High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel Out 60 NM
including Galveston and Matagorda Bays.

A frontal boundary will continue pushing off the coast overnight.
North winds will increase to around 20 knots toward morning then
gradually diminish Thursday afternoon. Hurricane Helene is
expected to make landfall on the Florida coastline late Thursday.
Other than some longer period swells making their way into the
upper Texas coastal waters Thursday night, no impacts are
anticipated locally.
