...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN TAZEWELL AND
NORTHEASTERN MASON COUNTIES THROUGH 1000 PM CDT...

At 941 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Manito, or 12 miles northwest of Mason City, moving southeast at 40
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Manito, Green Valley, Easton, Forest City, and Topeka.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
