Hurricane Helene continues to travel northward through the Gulf of Mexico and is expected to strengthen to a Major hurricane as it accelerates towards the Panhandle of Florida on today. Southeasterly winds will gradually strengthen to reach tropical storm strength by this morning over area waters, lingering at these levels into Friday. The tropical system will begin to move away from the area sometime on Friday. Conditions subside below small craft levels this weekend. .GULF STREAM...
