.SYNOPSIS...
Helene`s low weakens to 29.30 inches as it wobbles northward and
then northwestward to near the Lower Ohio Valley by this evening.
Thereafter, the low is expected to be nearly-stationary through
Monday. Simultaneously, a trough averaging 29.80 inches and
extending from Helene`s low impacts the Lake Erie region. Farther
north, a ridge averaging 30.00 inches persists over and near the
northern Great Lakes through Sunday before exiting toward the
Canadian Maritimes and vicinity on Monday. Helene`s low is
expected to drift east-northeastward toward the Middle Ohio Valley
and dissipate in the same area Monday night as the aforementioned
ridge exits toward the Canadian Maritimes, a cold front
approaches from the Upper Midwest, and the aforementioned trough
averaging 29.80 inches lingers over Lake Erie. On Tuesday, a cold
front is expected to sweep southeastward across Lake Erie.
