...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 445 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of West Tennessee, including the following
  counties, Gibson, Obion and Weakley.

* WHEN...Until 445 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. It will take
  several hours for all the water from these storms to work through
  local drainage systems in urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1243 PM CDT, emergency management reported heavy rain in
    the warned area due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or
    expected to begin shortly. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in
    the warned area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Martin, Union City, Dresden, South Fulton, Greenfield, Troy,
    Kenton, Obion, Sharon, Clayton, Cloverdale, Hornbeak,
    Woodland Mills, Rives, Samburg, McCutchen Heights, Moffatt,
    Gibbs, Shaffner and Wolverine.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
