...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is occurring.

* WHERE...A portion of West Tennessee, including the following
  counties, Crockett, Gibson, Hardeman and Madison.

* WHEN...Until 400 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams
  continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 146 PM CDT, the public reported flooding in the warned
    area. Flooding is already occurring. Between 2 and 3 inches
    of rain have fallen.
  - Some roads remain closed due to high water.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Jackson, Humboldt, Bemis, Adair, Mercer, Huntersville, Neely,
    Westover, Roberts, Denmark, Gum Flat, Leighton, Malesus,
    Windy City, Uptonville and Mason Grove.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
