...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT DESOTO...NORTHWESTERN
MARSHALL...NORTH CENTRAL TATE...SOUTHWESTERN FAYETTE AND SOUTHEASTERN
SHELBY COUNTIES THROUGH 115 AM CDT...

At 1238 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Southwest Memphis, or near T O Fuller State Park, moving east at 50
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Bartlett, Southaven, Collierville, Germantown, Olive Branch, Horn
Lake, Hernando, T O Fuller State Park, Cordova, Memphis, Byhalia,
Walls, Lake Cormorant, Southwest Memphis, Lynchburg, Southeast
Memphis, Downtown Memphis, Lewisburg, Whitehaven, and Frayser.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 400 AM CDT for eastern
Arkansas...northwestern Mississippi...and west Tennessee.
