...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Minnesota...

  Minnesota River at Morton affecting Redwood and Renville Counties.

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Minnesota...

  Minnesota River at Montevideo affecting Lac qui Parle, Chippewa
  and Yellow Medicine Counties.

.River levels have remained fairly steady at Morton and Montevideo
over the past 24 hours due to light precipitation in the area.
Additional scattered showers are possible Friday, but precipitation
amounts will average less than one half inch. As a result, slowly
falling river levels are expected to continue.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Minnesota River at Morton.

* WHEN...Until Saturday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Riverside Rd and Front Street flooded in
  North Redwood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 700 PM CDT Tuesday, the stage was 21.6 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 700 PM CDT Tuesday was 21.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    early Saturday morning and continue falling to 20.1 feet
    Tuesday, June 04.
  - Flood stage is 21.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Low lying areas and some roads along the
  river begin flooding, along with some basements of houses along
  the river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 700 PM CDT Tuesday, the stage was 15.1 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 700 PM CDT Tuesday was 15.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage to
    13.9 feet on Tuesday, June 04.
  - Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
