Temperatures continue to warm into warm Monday and the marine layer compresses. Monday and Tuesday look to have the warmest and driest conditions of the forecast with min RH values will fall into the 15-25 percent range for many inland locations. Overnight humidity recoveries look to be limited, but will still offer some relief. Additionally, winds stay relatively light through the warming and drying trend, easing fire concerns. Wednesday offers some cooling and improvement in humidities, but model trends show some slight warming into the end of the work week. ...Discussion from SFOFWFEKA... Hot and dry weather will continue to build through Monday. Interior valleys will most likely see highs up to 105F with minimum RH in the teens. While valleys will maintain good RH recovery from 70 to 80 percent, enhanced thermal belts will continue to generate poor RH recovery along mid and high slopes of 20 to 40 percent. Aside of breezy north winds along the coast this afternoon, daytime wind will be generally gentle and terrain driven. High elevation areas will experience enhanced, northeast diurnal flow at night with isolated gusts up to 25 mph. More moderate conditions will return later in the week. ##################################################################### ## ## ## Complete a discussion for each ECCDA segment below ## ## When done click transmit, product sent as KMTRFWLMTR ## ## ## ##################################################################### ECC010-231000- St Helena ECC Dispatch- DISCUSSION FOR Marin and Sonoma and Napa Counties 251 PM PDT Sun Sep 22 2024 Temperatures continue to warm into warm Monday and the marine layer compresses.
