At 748 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 9 miles north of Altenburg to near Daisy to near Marble Hill, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Locations impacted include... Carbondale, Perryville, Murphysboro, Marble Hill, Bollinger Mill State Historic Site, De Soto, Grand Tower, Altenburg, Patton, Millersville, Burfordville, Daisy, Frohna, Oak Ridge, Gorham, Sedgewickville, Pocahontas, Longtown, Old Appleton, and Glenallen. This includes Interstate 55 between Mile Markers 107 and 128. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
