...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT PERSON...NORTHERN VANCE...
GRANVILLE AND NORTH CENTRAL DURHAM COUNTIES THROUGH 1030 PM EDT...

At 942 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Virgilina to near Leasburg. Movement was
southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Henderson, Oxford, Roxboro, Concord, Stem, Stovall, Middleburg, Mayo
Reservoir, Steele Creek Marina & Campground, and Kerr Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM EDT for
portions of central North Carolina.
