.DISCUSSION...A cold front stalled just to the north of the burn
site will lift back northward today as the flow turns more
southwesterly at the burn site. Winds will still be enhanced, but
should be slightly weaker compared to yesterday. The burn site`s
proximity to the cold front will maintain some broken cloud cover
overhead into the afternoon hours. There is an outside chance of
a shower or thunderstorm affecting the burn site, mainly early
this afternoon. If this occurs, wetting rain is not expected, but
briefly strong and erratic microburst winds to around 40 mph will
be possible.

Southwest winds are expected to increase a bit more tomorrow as
the next cold front starts to move into Utah. This front has the
potential to make it to the burn site by Monday afternoon or
evening, turning winds more northwesterly while bringing a threat
of precipitation late Monday through Tuesday. At this time,
chance of wetting rain appears small (10% chance or less).
However, given the unsettled weather pattern, enhanced winds can
be expected, with gusts stronger than 20 mph possible most days
for the next week. Greatest chance of stronger than 25 mph gusts
will occur tomorrow and Monday.
