...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT RANDOLPH...SOUTHEASTERN QUITMAN
AND WESTERN TERRELL COUNTIES THROUGH 545 PM EDT...

At 457 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Cuthbert, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Cuthbert, Dawson, Shellman, Parrott, Randolph Co A/p, Chambliss,
Morris, Martins Crossroads, Benevolence, Springvale, Wades,
Springvale Station, Pachitla, Peterson Hill, Coles, White House,
Herod, Yeomans, Graves, and Fountain Bridge.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for
southwestern Georgia.
