...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHERN REPUBLIC AND
NORTHWESTERN WASHINGTON COUNTIES THROUGH 215 AM CDT...

At 143 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 3 miles northeast of Gilead to near Hubbell to
3 miles north of Scandia. Movement was east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Strong wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Belleville, Scandia, Cuba, Morrowville, Republic, Haddam, Munden,
Narka, Mahaska, and Hollenberg.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 AM CDT for
north central Kansas.
