At 326 PM, National Weather Service radar detected a large area of
showers and thunderstorms, some with heavy rain mostly in eastern
Oklahoma east of highway 75, also west of a Eufaula to Hugo line and
also south of I44 and east of the Muskogee Turnpike. Thunderstorms
with locally heavy rain were located in Muskogee, Haskell and
Latimer counties in Oklahoma. The precipitation was in the Tulsa
area. Movement was to the northeast at around 15 mph. The average
amount where it rained last hour was around one quarter of an inch
with maximum amounts of an inch and a half to two inches. Intensity
decreased during the last hour. The Tulsa area forecast for late
this afternoon and into this evening, mostly cloudy, showers and
thunderstorms likely with temperatures 72 to 79 degrees and
southeast winds up to 10 mph.

area. Movement was to the northeast at around 15 mph. The average

with maximum amounts of an inch and a half to two inches. Intensity
decreased during the last hour. The Fort Smith area forecast for
late this afternoon and into this evening, mostly cloudy, showers
likely and a chance of thunderstorms with temperatures 75 to 83
degrees and southeast winds 5 to 10 mph.
