At 1228 PM, National Weather Service radar detected scattered
showers and thunderstorms, some with heavy rain mostly in Okfuskee,
Creek, Pawnee and Choctaw counties in Oklahoma. It was more
widespread in southcentral Oklahoma and also in northcentral
Oklahoma. Movement was to the northeast at around 15 mph. The
average amount where it rained last hour was around one quarter of
an inch with maximum amounts of three quarters to around an inch.
Coverage, and intensity increased during the last hour. The Tulsa
area forecast for early this afternoon, mostly cloudy, showers
likely and a chance of thunderstorms with temperatures 74 to 80
degrees and southeast winds 5 to 10 mph.
