For the following areas...
Chesapeake Bay from Pooles Island to Sandy Point MD...
Chesapeake Bay north of Pooles Island MD...
Chester River to Queenstown MD...
Patapsco River including Baltimore Harbor...

At 727 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 nm west of Middle
River, moving east at 15 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 48 knots and large hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Boaters could easily be thrown overboard by suddenly higher
         wind and waves capsizing their vessel. Boats could suffer
         significant damage in high winds and hail.

Locations impacted include...
Pinehurst, North Point State Park, Fort Smallwood Park, Hart Miller
Island, Gibson Island, Bodkin Point, Tolchester Beach, Worton Point,
Pooles Island, Gunpowder River, Baltimore Light, Sevenfoot Knoll, and
Rock Hall.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM EDT for central and
northern Maryland...and the adjacent coastal waters.

Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are
expected.
