.DISCUSSION...

Warm, windy and dry conditions are expected to be the major weather
elements of concern going into tonight and Thursday. High pressure
will gradually shift east tonight and Thursday. Increasing southerly
winds during the day on Thursday will gust to between 30-40 mph in
spots during the late morning through the afternoon hours. Very warm
temperatures in the 90s will drive minimum relative humidity values
down into the 15-25 percent range west of the Missouri River.
However, wind speeds will diminish in the afternoon in these
locations as a cold front moves in. This will mitigate any major
fire weather concerns to some degree, but conditions will continue
to remain elevated.
