A 992 mb low at 59N 149W lingers in the western Gulf through Thu
evening and then weakens as it drifts to 57N 143W at 1002 mb Fri
morning. Its front remains nearly stationary over southern Alaska
through Thu afternoon and weakens Fri morning.
