...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN DICKEY COUNTY
THROUGH 200 AM CDT...

At 1258 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles west of Merricourt City, or 21 miles northwest of Ellendale,
moving southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Ellendale and Forbes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
