...A THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN BURLEIGH COUNTY THROUGH
430 PM CDT...

At 358 PM CDT, a thunderstorm was located 6 miles north of Bismarck,
moving southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea sized hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Bismarck, Lincoln, Menoken, University Of Mary, and Mcdowell Dam
Recreation Area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

If on or near Mcdowell Damm recreation area, get out of the water
and move indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike
out to 10 miles from the parent thunderstorm.

Additional showers and storms are possible in the Bismarck Mandan
Metro area through 5 pm.
