...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN CHEROKEE COUNTY
THROUGH 215 PM CDT...

At 142 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Little River Falls, or near Fort Payne, moving northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Little River Canyon National Preserve, Blanche, Little River Falls,
New Moon, Chesterfield, and Little River Canyon NP.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
