.SHORT TERM...Today through Sunday night...A ridge will expand
over the Great Basin through Saturday, with dry conditions.
This will bring a warming trend through Saturday with
temperatures warming to around 10 degrees above normal today,
and around 15 degrees above normal on Saturday. A system will
pass by to the north on Sunday, bringing cooler temperatures, around
5 degrees above normal, and breezy northwest winds 15-25 mph
with local gusts up to 35 mph during the afternoon and evening.

.LONG TERM...Monday through Friday...There is good agreement amongst
the long range guidance that dry and stable northwest flow will
remain over the region throughout next week. Several waves of low
pressure are anticipated to pass to the north, with winds picking up
in response as they pass. Temperatures will remain near average and
precipitation chances are less than 10%.

.AVIATION...VFR under building high pressure. Surface winds:
variable less than 10 kt. Winds at 10kft MSL: WSW 10-20 kt.

KBOI...VFR. Surface winds variable less than 10 kt.

Weekend Outlook...VFR and mostly clear. Light winds, except NW
10-20kts on Sunday afternoon and evening.
