Coastal Waters Forecast for the Lower Texas Coast

Lower Texas coastal waters from Baffin Bay to the mouth of the
Rio Grande out 60 NM.

Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest
1/3 of the waves, along with the occasional height of the average
highest 10 percent of the waves.

.SYNOPSIS...An enhanced pressure gradient over the Gulf of Mexico
will persist through at least Sunday. Surface ridge extending
westward over the Gulf coupled with a thermal low over South
Texas will maintain moderate to fresh and occasional stronger
periods of southeast winds and a moderate sea state. The strong
winds will support Small Craft Advisories along the Laguna Madre
and Exercise Caution on the Gulf waters today and likely
continuing into this evening and Saturday.
