...LOW WATER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM EDT THIS

...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM EDT
TUESDAY...

* WHAT...For the Low Water Advisory, abnormally low water
  levels. For the Small Craft Advisory, west winds 15 to 25
  knots and waves 2 to 4 feet.

* WHERE...The nearshore waters of Lake Erie from Maumee Bay to
  The Islands OH.

* WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, from 11 AM this morning
  to 4 AM EDT Tuesday. For the Low Water Advisory, from 2 PM
  this afternoon to 11 PM EDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft. Below
  normal water levels will result in hazardous navigating
  conditions.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...West winds to 25 to 30 knots over the open
  waters of Lake Erie this evening will cause water levels in the
  western basin of Lake Erie to drop rapidly. The water level at
  Toledo will likely drop below the critical mark for safe
  navigation, which is 19 inches above low water datum, this
  afternoon into this evening. As of 3 PM EDT, the water level at
  Toledo was 39.7 inches above low water datum.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.

Mariners should navigate shallow waters with extreme caution due
to below normal water levels.
