A few strong storms could be possible in Northwest Wisconsin until 8 PM with the primary hazard being brief gusty winds and small hail. Strong non-thunderstorm winds with gusts up to 30 to 40 mph linger into early evening for the Minnesota Arrowhead where a Wind Advisory is in effect. A Beach Hazard Statement remains in effect into this evening for Minnesota and Wisconsin Point beaches due to strong winds and high waves leading to rip currents. Elevated river and creek levels will continue. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday Small thunderstorm chances continue across the area Saturday and again Sunday evening.
