The probability of widespread hazardous weather is low. Isolated thunderstorms are possible across north and central Georgia this afternoon and evening. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday... Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are expected across portions of north and central Georgia on Tuesday. The coverage will increase starting on Wednesday, with scattered to widespread showers and thunderstorms on Thursday and Friday. Coverage is expected to decrease Saturday into Sunday. Depending on the evolution of what is likely to become a tropical system in the Gulf of Mexico around midweek, there is potential for periods of heavy rainfall and resulting flash flooding and/or river flooding during the second half of the week.
