For eastern Utah and western Colorado, here is the latest weather
synopsis
Clouds moving into the region from the west will keep temperatures a little
cooler, near normal, today. Look for showers and thunderstorms developing
over the higher terrain this afternoon with the abundant moisture
available. Later this evening, a line of thunderstorms will roll across the
northern half of eastern Utah and Western Colorado as a cold front moves
through the area producing brief periods of heavy rain, frequent lightning
and gusty winds. High pressure builds in through the rest of the week with
temperatures warming to near record highs Thursday into the weekend.
